New filtration plant in Australia for MSP Engineering and Tianqi Group

MSP Engineering from Australia and the Tianqi Group from China have again put their trust in TH for the supply and commissioning of two new filter presses for their lithium hydroxide processing plant. On completion, this will be the biggest plant of its kind in the world, with an output of over 25,000 t per year.

This new contract shows the trust that both firms place in TH, which recently supplied them with five filter presses. This equipment is to be used to recover gypsum and aluminium silicate fines, which can then be reintroduced into the process, thus reducing material losses. The contract is an extension of the project for which the five filter presses were supplied.

The company has been working on the Australian market for more than 10 years and has successfully completed projects for various customers, including the CSA, COBAR and Mount Isa mines owned by multinational company Glencore.
