TH to supply new trommel to Toro y Betolaza

The Toro y Betolaza Group has again turned to TH's technology for its coal drying facility at the Port of Ziérbana (Spain). Wear and tear on the current drying trommel has led the customer to decide to replace it by a new one of the same size. The new trommel performs better than the old one thanks to equipment upgrades introduced in recent years.

The benefits of the new unit for the customer include lower fuel consumption and higher output at the desired moisture levels for the coal processed.

This is a turnkey project, so the Quality and Safety Department is actively involved in it.

Toro y Betolaza imports, stores and distributes wet and dry solid fuels of all types, including metallurgical coke, petcoke, anthracite and hard coal, biomass and foaming agents.
