TH will upgrade VINACOMIN´s copper, iron and ferric sulphide concentrate filtration plant in Vietnam

VINACOMIN, the largest mining company in Vietnam, has selected TH to upgrade Sin Quyen mine´s concentrate filtration plant in Lao Cao (Vietnam). The current plant, developed by TH in 2018, is used to dewater copper, iron and ferric sulphide concentrates and includes three APN filter presses. The plant upgrade will allow to increase the production of iron concentrates.

TH will design, manufacture, and implement all the filtration equipment necessary for the plant upgrade, such as slurry pumps, thickener, and APN 16 filter press. The APN 16 filter press will be equipped with TH´s exclusive filter plates with high-strength cores and perimeter seals for optimum sealing. Their advanced design makes them the perfect match to work with abrasive materials and corrosive media, ensuring high output levels at the lowest possible cost per tonne. Thanks to this new upgrade, VINACOMIN will be able to increase its iron ore production as well as optimize dewatering plant production costs.
