Raspadskaya, founded in 1973, is one of Russia's biggest coal producers.
It is in the Kemerovo region, and accounts for 75 per cent of the coke produced in Russia. TH began to work with Raspadskaya in 2013, when it was commissioned to develop a filtration plant to handle waste from coke production.
Two years later it was decided to enlarge the plant to handle increased output.TH was commissioned to manufacture two new filter presses to enable production to be increased to 100 t/h.
The two new filter presses have recently been installed. Unlike the previous four, they are used to recover part of the material previously handled as waste. This enables Raspadskaya to not just manage its waste effectively but also to increase profits by recovering material that was previously discarded.
