New TH filter press ready for Agristo

A new TH APN16 filter press has left the TH COMPANY works for Belgium, to be installed in the primary water treatment process extension at the Agristo plant in Wielsbeke. Agristo is the world's leading producer of frozen-potato-based products.

The new filter press has passed its operational FATs under the joint supervision of technicians from TH and Philippe Huevenne of HB Drilling, TH's distributor in Belgium.

It will be joining the TH decanting and filtration facility already in place at Agristo's Wielsbeke plant. Agristo also successfully installed TH technology at its Harelbeke plant in 2016.

The filters supplied to Agristo all have the same configuration: a TH TF plate, a steel plate with a peripheral seal and individual infeed via hoses.

In all these cases TH has also supplied Agristo with the corresponding APN SIX6 sludge pumps. These pumps are ideally suited to processes of this type.
