Description

TH designs and builds washing trommel for energy attrition treatment of gravel and sand with high contents of adherences that must be dislodged for subsequent separation. The TL washing trommel is designed for long holding times and strong stirring to facilitate operations with particularly difficult products (kaolin bearing sands, gravels with large amounts of clay adhered to it etc.).

In the TL washing trommel, products undergo a process of autogenous attrition. The effect can be increased by the controlled introduction of friction loads. This eliminates earth and clay stuck to aggregates and industrial sands.

When necessary, the washing trommel can be fitted with an optional single or double screen attached at the discharge point.

Maximum attrition thanks to the TL washing trommel´s design which has a higher length to diameter ratio than other trommel washers in the market.

Internal configuration with elastomer coated bars and plates, designed for optimal attrition.

Drive system with independent drive units fitted with gear motors and supporting idlers with oversized supporting axles. Both types of unit are fitted with standard, high load-capacity tyres (single or twin).

As an option, single or double screens can be fitted at the discharge point if fractions need to be separated before subsequent desliming or classification operations. Screening takes place with nozzles attached to the trommel body which is fitted with classification meshes that can be made of different materials (metal, rubber or polyurethane) depending on the desired application.
